The Eldon Advertiser, Thursday, November 11, 1999 Glen Hadley Stone, 61, of Yuma, Ariz., died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at his home. He was born April 27, 1938, in Ulman to Logan Hadley and Eula Sarah Shepherd Stone. His parents, who preceded him in death, also had been residents of Eldon. In 1967, Mr. Stone married Karen Wilson, who survives at the home. Mr. Stone was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was employed with Yellow Freight as a truck driver for 22 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Ulman Christian church. Also surviving him are three daughters, Starla Buechter of Iberia, Shona Watson of Lincoln, Neb., and Tosha Edwards of Dunning, Neb.; a son, David Jones of Jefferson City; two stepsons, Mark Williams of Kansas and Mike Williams of Lincoln, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Eads of Jefferson City and Margaret Morris of Columbia. His body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
