Army Medic in WW11, received a purple heart, 3 bronze stars an an honorable discharge. Besides his family, he was most proud of his time served and never forgot many things he learned as a medic. Married to Yolanda DiFranco in 1948 for 66 yrs.untl his death and had 5 children. John, (twins) Ben and Carmen(deceased), Emira and Mark. Son of Giovanni and Filomena(DiFranco). Lived his life fully and loved baseball and most sports. Coached and played on a men's team for many years. Loved people and was very sociable and always joking. Devoted husband, father and grand and great grandfather and had a memory like an elephant. Has been deeply missed since accepting his fate and death.
