FRIONA - Pomposa G. Perez, 75, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in St. Teresa's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with the Rev. Ed Sweeney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Perez was born in Cuchiyo Parado, Mexico. She moved to Friona 26 years ago from Porbinir, Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Teresa's Ladies Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Perez, in 1981.

Survivors include five sons, Rosalio Perez of Friona, Eulalio Perez of Hobbs, N.M., Agustino Perez and Armando Perez, both of Friona, and Silvestre Perez of Clovis, N.M.; six daughters, Herminia Pena of Amarillo, Lidia Hernandez of Bovina, Maria D. Perez, Maria C. Sanchez and Teresa Salinas, all of Friona, and Maria E. Perez of Las Cruces, N.M.; two sisters, Isabel Gavaldon of Fort Worth and Francisca Gavaldon of Fort Hancock; 43 grandchildren; and 34 greatgrandchildren.
