Sylvia Jewel Crawford was born September 21, 1936 to Denver and Maggie Belle Cox in Prescott, Arkansas. She departed this life April 22, 2016 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 1 day.

She moved to Oklahoma from Arkansas at the age of fifteen. She worked at many different places such as the garment factory, pecan and ag and the carpet factory just to name a few. She was known as a hard worker no matter what the job was.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, playing bingo, traveling on vacation trips and especially cooking. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by five children, Linda Darlene Spears of Bristow, Sylvia Gail Haskins of Depew, Connie Sue Wilson of Bristow, Kenneth Ray Spears Jr. of Milfay and Chuck Crawford of Bristow; one sister, Wanda Smith of Gurdon, Arkansas and one brother, Billy Louis Cox of Antione, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, Roger Dale Pinson, Chrisy Davis, Evelyn Haskins, Tommy Dale Stice, Troy Wayne Haskins, Brian Pinson, Hunter Wilson, Whitney Asbell, Chaney Crawford, Garrett Crawford, Kaitlyn Crawford, Vern C. Wilson Jr. and Johnny Coleman Wilson; Seventeen great grandchildren, Brooke Ann Pinson, Sara Davis, Shelby Davis, Adam McCartney, Gus Haskins, Abbygail Kay Haskins, Ethan Cullen Asbell, Brynlee Pinson, Graham Pinson, Jaycee Lynn Cotton, Allison Paige Wilson, Madison Reide Wilson, Dillon Wilson, Hailey Wilson, Chloe Wilson and McKena Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, William Ray Spears and one brother, Jimmy Wayne Cox.

Funeral services ~ Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Bristow Christian Center with Pastor Wayne Gemmill officiating. Interment was at the Bristow City Cemetery.
