Celia Brittain Bird was born in 1832 in Burke County, North Carolina, the daughter of Clark Bird and Mary Curtis. She married Alexander Leroy Wild in 1855 in Macon County, North Carolina, and they had 9 children.

5- Margaret Wild (c.1865-c.1866).
