EARL J. SHAW, Jr., age 65, of Breedsville, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at his home. Earl was born Sept. 30, 1949 in New Haven, CT the son of Earl and Dolores (Zimmerman) Shaw and has lived the past 18 years in the Breedsville area.
Earl served with the US Marines in Vietnam where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and the Navy Cross. Due to injuries sustained in Vietnam, Earl was disabled upon discharge. Despite his injuries Earl maintained a kind and loving attitude and was known to help anyone in need.
Surviving are his many friends who will dearly miss him.
Friends will gather together Thursday 11 until 12:00 Noon at the Breedsville United Methodist Church where the funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Jason Harpole officiating. Interment will follow in Breedsville Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home.
