Funeral services for Joseph Alley, former Tipton resident who was drowned in a trailer truck accident in Decatur, Illinois, Feb 2, will be held in Frankfort Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Hartman Funeral Home with burial in Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday and until one hour prior to services.

The deceased was born July 5, 1928, in Windfall, son of the late George Edward and Goldie (Fite) Alley. He was preceded in death by three brothers. He was married March 27, 1965 to Pauline McNew of Frankfort, who survives with three step-sons, Billy Lee, Frederick and Kerry McNew. Also surviving are five sisters and a brother, Mrs. Robert Baler of Tipton; Mrs. Paul Reese of Kempton; Mrs. Hugh Foster of Anderson; Mrs. Arthur Clark of Windfall; Helen Browning of Sharpsville and Henry Alley of Kokomo.

He was a veteran of the Korean war and a member of the American Legion and of the Loyal Order of Moose.
