LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Mrs. Lionel P. Hebert, the former Clara Belle Crochet, 87, who died on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Mitzi White and her husband, Robert White and Jackie Barnhill and her husband, Calvin Barnhill; one son, Glenn Hebert and his wife, Rita Lewis Hebert; Sister Helen Hart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel P. Hebert; her parents, Simon and Girdie Patin Crochet; and one sister, Betty Broussard.
Clara was an amazing lady with remarkable strengths of mind, body and soul. Always putting others first, she managed to enjoy her hobbies of walking in the morning, ironing, and maintaining a comfortable home life for all of her family. She was family oriented, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was always part of everyone's life. Her morals, values and beliefs were strong and will be carried on through the beautiful legacy she has left behind. Always smiling, she was an inspiration to all and will whole-heartedly be missed.
