Bette Rose Whittle Woodring Smith, age 77, of Tucon, Arizona died Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
She was born January 18, 1939 in Cushing, Oklahoma the daughter of Henry Calvin and Nina Rose (Fletcher) Whittle and she lived most of her life in Springdale, Arkansas.
She and Rufus Harold Smith were married October 4, 1987.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Sheila Elaine (Woodring) Franklin; two brothers, Tommy Whittle and Milo Whittle; and three sisters, Susie Owen, Evelyn Todd, and Verna Graham.
She is survived by a son, Darrin Woodring; and a step-son, Rufus Smith, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her son, Darrin's home in Tucson, Arizona.
