Thomas Lee Whittle, 91, Huntsville, Arkansas, November 29, 2015 at his home. He was born April 24, 1924 at Cushing, Oklahoma, the son of Henry and Nina Fletcher Whittle. He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of World War Two, serving in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by parents, one brother, Milo Whittle and three sisters, Verna Graham, Suzie Owens and Evelyn Todd.

Survivors include: his wife of sixty-nine years, Helen Marie Sizemore Whittle of the home whom he married on July 20, 1946; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Lyn and Elaine Whittle of Huntsville, Arkansas, Donnie and Janice Whittle of Nob Hill, Arkansas, Jackie Whittle of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Michael and Brenda Whittle of Springdale, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law,* Peggy Shackelford and husband, Johnny, and Vicky Watkins and husband, Charles; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Yvonne Whittle of Hindsville, Arkansas; two sisters, Daisy Couch of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Betty Smith of Tucson, Arizona; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, December 4, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Richard Pearson and The Reverend Jim Hepler officiating. Interment will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Richard Pearson, Tom Pearson, Allen Whittle, Shane Whittle, Jody Whittle, Jeffrey Whittle and Jackie Whittle. Honorary pallbearers will be: Karen Whittle, Teresa Little Garcia and Jacelyn Booher. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
