Lillie Mae Blevins Glasco, age 80 of 122 Shawtown Road, Glade Valley, NC died Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta. She was born July 16, 1935 in Alleghany County to the late Clate and Ada Cox Blevins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Guy Scott; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Quincy Glasco of the home; two daughters, Linda Church and husband Leonard of Sparta, Tonya Sheets and husband Jamie of Sparta; two sons, Larry Scott and wife Becky of Sparta, Gary Scott and wife Gay of Sparta; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Clay Blevins and wife Pearley of Trinity; one sister, Betty Sykes of Asheboro; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Glasco at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Ball, Rev. Allen Huffman, and Rev. Danny Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Landmark Cemetery.
