She and her husband, the late Peter Bert LeDuc, moved to St. Helena in 1947, when he retired from the grocery business because of failing health. Mr. LeDuc died in 1961. He had served in The Philippines during the Spanish-American War.
Mrs. LeDuc was a native of Montana and was the daughter of Carey M. and Rachael Virginia Tate, pioneer settlers there.
