Eugene "Gene" Mezeivtch, 76, of Monroeville, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016. He was a son of the late Vincent and Mary Mezeivtch; beloved husband of Elsie (Bilinski) Mezeivtch; loving dad of Alicia (Rocco) Vitalone, Eugene (Elaine) and Michael (Lori) Mezeivtch; special pap of Chelsea, Bailey, Karleigh, Mitchell, David, Jack, Mallory, Chelsea and Rocco; brother of Vince (Marlene) Mezeivtch and brother-in-law of Geraldine Ankney; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Mezeveitch was employed by the Monroeville Municipality Public Works for more than 40 years.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding. Parting prayers will be 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Jude the Apostle Church, with Father Brennan as celebrant. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
