Frank W Leidinger
Frank W Leidinger, 53 years of age, 27 Williams Street, grocer, former Baltimore and Ohio locomotive engineer, Pittsburgh Division and prominent in fraternal circles here, died at his home at 2 o'clock this morning from heart trouble. Mr Leidinger had been under a physician's care for several weeks, but his demise came suddenly. Mr Leidinger leaves his widow, Mrs Hattie G Leidinger, a daughter, Mrs Harold E Burns and a son, George P Leidinger. He leaves also four sisters and two brothers: Mrs George Wagner, Mrs Lee S Daniels, Mrs Charles J Freeland and Miss Mayme Leidinger, George P Leidinger, this city and Joseph W Leidinger, Cleveland, Ohio. Mr Leidinger was a member of SS Peter and Paul church. He was a charter member of Cumberland Aerie 245, Fraternal Order of Eagles and of Cumberland Lodge No 271, Loyal Order of the Moose. He was also a member of Lodge No 63 B P O E Elks and Tonkaway Tribe No 120, Improved Order of Redmen. Mr Leidinger was a son of William Leidinger, a member of the city police force. After leaving the service of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Mr Leidinger entered the café business at the former 'Log Cabin' Mechanic and Frederick Street, later moving to Williams Street where in recent years, he conducted a grocery store. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from SS Peter and Paul church with interment in the church cemetery.
