Mr. Tillery was born on July 23, 1933, in Moultrie, GA, to the late A. R. Tillery and Allie Hancock Tillery. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. On July 2, 1957, he married Patricia Hood Tillery, who survives. He served as a Baptist minister for over sixty years. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Cairo.
Survivors include: wife, Patricia Tillery of Cairo, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Erin T. and Darryl Boyett of Climax, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Robin Tillery of Iron City, GA, Kevin and Janet Tillery of Ireland; grandchildren and spouses, Beau and Jessica Boyett of Cairo, GA, Seth and Kristin Boyett of Waycross, GA, Andrew Tillery, Jordan Tillery, both of Ireland; great-grandchildren, Abigail Boyett, Ethan Boyett, of Cairo, GA, Jake Boyett of Waycross, GA; sister, Martha Tillery of Lenox, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers; and a sister.
