orence Tryon Burris 'Honey Flo', passed away at the age of 87 of natural causes on January 14, 2006. She was born in Great Falls, MT and moved to Orlando in 1946. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother of four sons. She lived her life serving the Lord through many ministries at Park Lake Presbyterian Church. She served her church in the following areas Junior High Group Leader, opened her home for meeting, youth activities, parties, etc., led a sewing ministry, led the mission program, served many years as circle leader, served two terms as moderator of Presbyterian Women and received the honorary life membership award in 1996. She was very active in helping Forest Park School. Honey Flo was also an active resident of Westminster Towers where she was involved the Food committee, Creative Writing, Craft Classes and also a member of the Bridge Club. Honey Flo and her late husband Chet in their 68 years of marriage were avid world travelers. She shared her lifetime experiences with family, friends and the community through her poetry, which she could write in a matter of minutes, art, and photography. Her sons, Chet Jr. and daughter-in-love Becky, Orlando, and Raymond and daughter-in-love Sandy, New Smyrna, and her two sisters Beverly Moore and Peggy Tryon, Orlando, survive Honey Flo. Honey Flo is also survived by seven grandchildren, Allyson, Tina, Wes, Steven, Bonnie, Michele and Todd, five great grandchildren, Chastidie, Chad, Anthony, Janelle and Alexander, one niece Beverly Puccio and two nephews Jimmy Moore and Danny Moore, and one great nephew Michael Smith. Viewing will be at Carey Hand Cox Parker Funeral Home, 1350 W. Fairbanks Avenue, Winter Park from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2006. Memorial Services will be held at 4 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Park Lake Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make contributions to Park Lake Presbyterian Church Audio Fund in memory of Honey Flo Burris.
