Freda Rose Baker, 73, passed away April 11, 2016, in her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1943, to Wilbur (Spec) Roy Wooldridge and Edith June Wooldridge-Smith. She was wed to Jack Allen Baker Sr. on Feb. 10, 1958.
She had worked at the shoe factory until its closing, and then she retired from 3M after having worked there for 25 years. She loved to have Sunday dinners at her house while making memories with her family. She enjoyed baking and cooking for everyone, especially her hot rolls, noodles, and cinnamon rolls. Her and her husband loved to take their kids and grandkids fishing at Katy Allen Lake. You couldn't talk to her without her bragging about her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was cared for by her son Jack Allen and he will truly miss her. She will be missed by all who knew her, but celebrated in the memories made.
