Born about 1681, the illegitimate daughter of King James II and Catherine Sedley, Countess of Dorchester. She married firstly James Annesley, 3rd Earl of Anglesey, and they divorced in 1701. She married secondly, John Sheffield, 1st Duke of the County of Buckingham and of Normanby, as his third wife. After her marriages she was styled Countess of Anglesey and Duchess of the County of Buckingham and of Normanby, respectively. Her death has been recorded as occurring on March 13, 1743 and also on March 17, 1743.
