Louis Herman Wolf, 86 of Franklin Park Boro PA, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Friday, October 10, 2008. He was born Thursday June 8, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Herman L. and Ethel (Miller) Wolf. Mr. Wolf was Regional Manager with CNA Insurance Company until his retirement in 1982 and later worked at Affolder Insurance Agency. Louie was a long time devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was their cemetery sexton for many years. Mr. Wolf was a World War II Veteran who served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Radioman, in and outside of the continental US limits.He is survived by his Wife of 60 years, Ruth (Bohn) Wolf of Franklin Park Boro, PA; He is the loving father of Chuck (Gail) Wolf ne Hrach of Adams Township, PA; Ken (Deb) Wolf of Franklin Park Boro, PA, Joan (Fred) Schenker, of McCandless Twp., PA and Lynn (Scott) Simpson of Franklin Park Boro. . Brother of Ruth (Charles) Soergel of Franklin Park Boro. Cherished "Pappy" of David, Scott, Sara, Becky, Carrie, Katie, Stephanie, Jeff, Mark, Luke, and Matt. Great "Pappy" of Jamie, Jessica, Scott, and Liliana. He was "Uncle Louie" to many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be on Sunday October 12, 2008 from 1:00 till 4:00 and 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Herbert R. King, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 13, 2008, 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Frederick Schenker officiating. Please meet at the church on Monday morning. Burial with military honors will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
