He was born in West Conshohocken, PA on June 21, 1922.
Joseph has lived in Conshohocken, Pa most of his life.
He was a very active member of Calvary Episcopal Church of Conshohocken, Pa.
He served in the US Army during World War II, and served for 20 years, he is the last surviving member of Battery "C". He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 5 Bronze Stars.
He worked with the former Lavino's Manufacturing of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
He was a member of Conshohocken V.F. W. Post # 1074.
Joseph volunteered with Colonial Neighborhood Council "The Well" of Conshohocken, Pa.
Son of the Late Elmer & Nellie ( Cross ) Horn.
Survivors include his Wife: Eleanor (Winiarz) Horn Conshohocken PA Son: David Horn Conshohocken PA
Daughter: Debbie (& John) Sheridan Reading PA
Son: Joseph (& Gina) Horn Royersford PA
Also survived by 3 Grandchildren
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 6 brothers Elmer, Francis, Bobby, Sam, George & Harrison Horn and 2 sisters Margaret and Nellie.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Calvary Episcopal Church, 325 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.
Clergy: Fr. Thomas McClellan will be officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA and Wednesday Morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the church.
Interment will take place in Barren Hill Cemetery, Lafayette Hill, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Colonial Neighborhood Council, 107 East 4th Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
