Debbie Childs Bradley, age 57, of the Brackett Town community, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her home following a short period of declining health.

Debbie was born in Flint, Michigan on September 4, 1958 to the late William Childs and Jewell Sherrod Childs.

She was employed at McDonalds in Marion for over 28 years and left there as a shift supervisor. Her devotion to her work was clearly evident but her love for her family was what truly motivated her and filled her days with happiness. To know her was to love her and her loyalty to her family and friends was unsurpassed.

In addition to her parents, a sister, Lynne Woollums preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years, Mickey Bradley of the home; a daughter, Christen Wright and husband Allen of Nebo; a step-daughter, Ashley Cooke and husband Edge of Nebo; two brothers, Steven Childs of Virginia and Billy Childs of Marion; three grandchildren, Damian, Zackary and Odin; her parents-in-law, Bill and Glenda Bradley; a sister-in-law, Kathy Koye; a brother-in-law, Billy Bradley; and a niece, Jada Woollums.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Westmoreland Funeral Home in Marion. A service in celebration of her life will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Westmoreland Chapel. Burial will follow in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
