Manderscheid Funeral Today
Mrs. Iona Mae Manderscheid died at her home in Friona Tuesday night. Funeral services will be conducted at the Friona Methodist Church, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Reverend Davis, pastor of the Friona Pentecostal Church, officiating.
Iona Mae Reed was born in Texas on Nov. 13, 1885. She was married to Timothy Manderscheid, and they moved to Friona from Dewey, Okla. in 1928. They farmed near Friona. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church there.
Survivors are two sons, Arthur F. Manderscheid, Cherokee, Okla., and Doyle E. Manderscheid, Friona; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Massey, Friona; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers and one sister.
Burial will be in the Friona cemetery under direction of Gililland Funeral Home of Hereford.
