Lowell Rodney Miller, 95, of Assaria, passed away April 6, 2016.

He was born January 28, 1921, the son of Nathaniel Harris and Pearl (Hillyard) Miller in Bridgeport, KS.

Lowell was a WWII Air Corps veteran, and a farmer. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Taylor on August 16, 1953 in Salina, KS. Carolyn passed away December 17, 2000.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Dorothy Rivir, brothers: Harris, Dwain, and Dwight Miller, and grandson, Shea Andrews.

Lowell is survived by his son, Rodney Miller (Karla) of Buhler,KS, daughters: Georgeanne Daly (Thomas) of Rio Rancho, NM, Lynell Andrews (Marvin) of Calhan, CO, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, from 4-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am Friday, April 15, at Mentor United Methodist Church, Mentor, with burial following at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be designated for Mentor United Methodist Church or Bethany Home in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
