She was born in Lake Charles and lived there all of her life. Laura previously worked for Stine Lumber Co. She enjoyed spending time in the country and on the water. Laura loved music, caring for plants and animals. She loved the times she spent with her family especially her baby girl, Rayna Lisa Reeves.
Survivors include her father, Terry Reeves of Dayton, TX; her mother, Rachel Reeves of Lake Charles; daughter, Rayna Lisa Reeves of Lake Charles; brother, Terry David Reeves, Jr. of Topsy; and grandfather, Clifton Reeves of Topsy.
Visitation will be from 4pm-9pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 and will resume on Thursday from 8am-11am at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Her funeral will be at 11am on Thursday at the funeral home. The Reverend John Palir III will officiate. Burial will be at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
