Georgia Thompson Riddle passed away on March 2, 2016, in Henderson, Nevada after a period of declining health. She was born January 23, 1922 in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, daughter of the late Frank W. Riddle and Maude Thompson Riddle.

Georgia was a 1939 graduate of Emlenton High School. She received her Registered Nursing Degree from Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing in 1943. She then continued her education becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. She spent several years nursing in Charleston, West Virginia, before moving to Elmhurst, Illinois and retiring from Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.

Georgia grew up attending the Scrubgrass Stone Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are nieces Beverly Gruber of New Tripoli, Barbara (Glen) Gross of Emlenton, Susan (Chuck) Millburn of Penn Hills and nephews Gilbert (Sonja) Wagener of Jupiter, Florida, and Harold Riddle (Mary Mitchell) of Emlenton. She made her home with a fellow nurse, Juanita Ann Langman. Georgia was the last member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by a sister, Florence (Nelson ) Wagener of Miami, Florida, and three brother, Paul (Jane) of Butler, Doc (Lillian) of Greenville & Vivian (Mary) of Emlenton.

At Georgia's request there will be no visitation. The family will hold a private graveside service. Interment will be in the Scrubgrass Presbyterian Cemetery.
