Bio

I am the secretary/treasurer for the Scrubgrass Presbyterian Cemetery (also known as the Scrubgrass Stone Church Cemetery). Several years ago the president of the cemetery association passed away and I inherited his job as sexton.

I worked for several months last winter placing all Scrubgrass Cemetery burial permits on the computer. These dated back to the early 1900's. Now when fellow genealogy folks call, I have the information at my fingertips.

I have also updated Find a Grave with Lot Numbers, Section Numbers and Grave Numbers for those graves for which I have documentation.

I am the behind the scenes photograher for about 1,000 photos taken in the Scrubgrass Cemetery posted on Find a Grave by my friend, Jo.

This is a wonderful site and those that do the research for each memorial need to be commended. Because of their endless work, we have history at our fingertips. My part is small but I enjoy it and I love helping people envolved in genealogy.
