Ringgold, LA. - Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Pate 94, of Ringgold, LA. will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ringgold, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Richard Hale and Bro. Tim Page. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA. Mrs. Helen was born September 9, 1923 in Heflin, LA. and went to be with her Lord and Savior November 22, 2017 in Bossier City, LA. She was a nurse for many years and later worked at Talbert's Store where she greeted everyone with a smile and kind word. She was a long-time member of Ringgold Eastern Star. Mrs. Helen was a true example of a Christian woman and a faithful member of Ringgold Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and sisters; son, Bobby S. Pate, Sr.; a granddaughter, Nicole Tingle; and a grandson, Chris Watts. Left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Joyce Hinton and husband, Joe, Edith Cooley and husband Matt, and Rita McWhiney and husband, Mark, all of Bossier City, LA.; daughter-in-law, Diann Hays and husband, Walter of Ringgold, LA.; 11 grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Bobby Pate, John Hays, Robert Hays, Jeremy Watts, Charles Tingle, Mike Tingle, Bill Tingle, and Troy Lynn Driggers. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Hays, Mark McWhiney, Matt Cooley, Travis Hale, Mike Cottingham and Roddy Pate. The family would like to thank Riverview Care Center and Life Path Hospice for all their loving care and kindness. They would like to extend a very special thank you to her roommate and niece, Myrle Pate for being there for Mrs. Helen and the family during these last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Ringgold Church of Christ, 2145 Military Road, Ringgold, LA. 71068
