UNION - Paul Harold Austin, 68, of 1966 Carlisle-Santuck Highway died Feb. 4, 1999, in Wallace Thomson Hospital after a sudden illness.
A native of Union, he was son of the late James Jason and Kate McKeown Austin.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing Plant. He also was a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Lancaster Austin; a daughter, Terri Darlene Austin of the home; two sons, Timothy Harold Austin of Spartanburg and Jeffery Blake Austin of Greenville; two sisters, Avalee Baker and Marian English, both of Union; two brothers, Ralph "Doc" Austin and James Austin, both of Union; and a granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Union Memorial Gardens.
