"MORGANTOWN — Mable Lee West, 90, of Bowling Green, died Nov. 25, 2010.

The Butler County native was a lifelong resident of Butler County and moved to Bowling Green in 2002. She owned West Jewelry Store in Morgantown for 18 years from 1967 to 1985. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church since 2004 and was a member of United Methodist Women. She was a member of Morgantown First United Methodist Church for more than 60 years and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a daughter of the late Harvey Blane Henderson and Mary Berry Henderson and the wife of the late W.T. “Dub” West Jr. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Ann West; four brothers, Clifton, Raymon, Talmage and Guy Henderson; and two sisters, Velma Givens and Ruble Carter.

Funeral was Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Lee Smith and her husband, George W. Smith III, of Bowling Green; two grandsons, George Paul Smith and his wife, Victoria, and Mark Thomas Smith and his fiancee, Amy Casey, of Bowling Green; a granddaughter, Catherine Elizabeth Smith; a great-stepgranddaughter, Alexa Casey; extended family, Michael Smith and his wife, Stephanie, and children, Zachary and Noah, of Franklin; a sister, Ovie Beliles and her husband, Raymond “Thel,” of Smiths Grove; a brother-in-law, Ralph Carter; 13 nieces; and 10 nephews."
