Michael "Mike" Lee Reid, 61, passed away March 30, 2016, at St. Dominic Hospital. He was a native of Ackerman, MS and resident of Madison.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Taylor Reid; his father, James Rupert Reid, and grandmother, Chessie Reid.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jones Reid; his son, Scott Reid (Kim); and granddaughters, Shelby, Kirsten and Brooke Reid; brothers, Ronnie Reid (Ruby) and Jimmy Reid; sisters, Peggy Miller (Mike) and Susan Lepard (Glenn).
Mike loved his wife, family, and the Lord. He liked to spend time with his granddaughters camping and fishing. Mike's friends and family cherish his dedication as a longtime fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Funeral services were Friday, April 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial followed at Parkway Cemetery.
