NAHSTOLL, Mary Ellen, passed away on April 1, 2016. She was preceded in her death by her husband Leo F. Nahstoll, Jr. She is survived by her three sons, Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Born October 18, 1923 in Sioux City, Iowa. She moved to Louisville, KY at an early age and lived there most of her life. She worked in the cashier's department at Sears and Roebucks for over twenty years. Spending her golden years In Sarasota, FL and Richmond, VA, she spent much of her time with family and friends doing volunteer work, traveling, and playing bingo. Mary Ellen was an avid reader who enjoyed many diverse authors, story lines and anything written about the Kennedy's. She was a staunch Democrat who particularly relished participating in the election process by working at the voting polls and canvassing precinct voters. She enjoyed keeping up with current events by watching political talk shows, local and national news. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 7 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Ave. with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
