Obituary for George Huffman

Just one week from the time that E. L Huffman passed away, occurred the death of his aged father, Mr George Huffman. On the morning of December fifth, between the hours of 9 and 10 o'clock, while Mr Huffman was sitting by the fire in his home, 503 Tremont Street, he was seized with heart failure, and quietly and peacefully, went to rest. His death was beautiful in that it was painless and it seemed almost as if he had a premonition that the end was near. The shock to his wife is great and friends are keeping her very quiet. Mr Huffman has been far from well for a number of weeks, but able to be up and about most of the time. He was an active member of the Masonic fraternity holding the position of Tyler for a number of years and also acting as instructor of candidates, being exceptionally well posted in the work of the Order. The funeral will be held at 2:-- O'clock pm Sunday, from the residence, corner of 4th and Tremont Streets, conducted by Dr. Luse, the masons taking charge of the services at the grave. Mr. Huffman was in this 76th year.
