Funeral rites were conductd Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic church in Abbeville for Victorian Chauvin, 70, who died Friday morning at 6:45 o'clock. Burial was in the new Catholic cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Chauvin are his widow Odile R. Chauvin; three sons, Sidney of Kaplan, Noah of Port Sulphur, and Yennis of Abbeville; two daughters, Mrs. Morris Moss of Abbeville, Mrs. Noah Prejean of LeRoy; a sister, Mrs. Leze Dumond of Abbeville; two brothers, Edgar of Nederland, Texas, Saphrin of New Iberia; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral arrangements were in charge of L J Moss of the First National Funeral Home of Abbeville.
