Collin was born on March 4, 1995 in Independence, Iowa, the son of Charles and Shawna (Hodges) Brown.
He was a loving father, fiancé', brother and friend. Collin was an outgoing and friendly person who was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed writing, listening and playing music.
Surviving are his parents, Charles (Ruth) Brown of Dubuque, IA and Shawna Hodges of Independence, IA; fiancé' Alecea Lombardi of Dubuque, IA; daughter Mayah Brown and step-son Rylee Lombardi both of Dubuque, IA; sister, Cassandra Hodges of Guttenberg, IA; brothers, Austin Brown of Dubuque, IA and Tryston Adelman of Independence, IA; paternal grandfather, Charles Brown of Independence, IA; also surviving are many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hope Church with Rev. Matt Collins officiating. Burial will be in East Dubuque Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Rd. and from 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Hope Church.
