Roxy was a Chow mix. She was dumped out of a car on HWY 95 and left to fend for herself. When I first saw her I thought I was seeing a large fox but it turned out to be a dog. I didn't stop to pick her up but drove 30 miles to my home in Austin and just couldn't get her out of my mind. I drove back to see if she was still there and she was. She had been staying in a culvert. I got her to come to me but getting her in the car was not so easy. She did not have good memories of riding in the car. I took her back to the family farm where she lived until her death.
