Nora Suitt, 85, Richmond, KY, entered into rest Monday, April 4, 2016. Mrs. Suitt was a native of Bakersville, NC and had resided in Telford for several years before moving to KY to be with her daughter. She was a daughter of the late John and Darlie Whitson Gardner and was also preceded in death by her husband Everett Charles Suitt, one son, Donnie Suitt and one brother, J.C. Gardner. Mrs. Suitt was a homemaker and retired waitress who enjoyed reading and word search. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Judy Williams, Berea, KY; her son, Johnny Williams, Johnson City; sisters, Juanita Dalton, Louise Myers, Joann Keller all of Johnson City, Betty Moxley, Elizabethton and Patsy Street, Charlotte, NC; brothers, Homer Gardner, Wade Gardner, Roger Gardner all of Unicoi and Kenny Gardner, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Charles Donald “Snoopy” Hollified III, Johnaton Williams, Lea Williams and Cara Williams; great grandchildren, Paydon Simmons, Skylar Simmons and Maddox Simmons and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet guests and share memories for 6:00 pm Thursday until a Celebration of Life Service at 8:00 pm at Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services, Johnson City, TN. Committal services will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Everyone will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 am. Reverend Matt Young and Reverend Kenneth Grindstaff will officiate. Music will be provided by Stormy Honeycutt. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
