John Leyse, who for the past twenty years has held the position of millwright and master mechanic for the Two Rivers Manufacturing Company, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Christensen, with whom he had recently lived. He was a native of Norway and was 62 years of age. He came to this country as a young man and for a long time worked at his trade, that of a millwright, at Lacrosse and from that city came to Two Rivers. He was a man of exceeding skill in all kinds of mechanical work. Indeed in this line of work he had few superiors. He leaves a wife, four sons and two daughters. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 2 o'clock.
