Services for Jane Smith Strickland, 75, of Gilmer formerly of Kilgore will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mausoleum of Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Longview with Reverend David Hampton officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. Strickland passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in Gilmer.
Jane was born on September 16, 1940 in Rusk County, Texas to the late A.B. Smith and Lettie McLeod. She worked for General Telephone Company as a phone operator for many years. Mrs. Strickland was of Baptist faith and will be missed by all that knew her.
Jane is survived by one daughter, one sister, two grandchildren.
