CARL J. STUECK

In failing health since May, Carl J. Stueck, 73, 2230 15th street, Two Rivers, a retired town of Two Rivers farmer and active in affairs of St. John Lutheran
church, Two Rivers, died at the Two Rivers Municipal hospital Sunday night. He had been a patient at the institution for two days.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Klein & Stangel Inc., funeral home, Two Rivers, and at 2 o’clock at St. John church, the Rev. W. G. Haase officiating. Interment will be in Pioneers’ Rest cemetery, Two Rivers. The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 o’clock Tuesday night until the hour of services.

Mr. Stueck was born in the town of Two Rivers, near Shoto, in 1877, a son of the late Frederick and Mary Nickles Stueck. He operated the homestead farm until
1932 when he retired and moved to Two Rivers.

Mr. Stueck married Mary Stuerwaldt of Two Rivers in 1901. She preceded him in death 19 years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lester Schultz of the town of Two Rivers and Mrs. George Gates of Two Rivers and a son Harvey Stueck of Two Rivers. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Anna Hoefner of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Lena Franz and Mrs. Emma Rahn of the town of Two Rivers and six grandchildren.
