Selma (Sally) Levanetz, age 100, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care
Center, Manitowoc, died late Wednesday evening, December 3, 1997, at
Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6,
1997, at Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers. Rev. Richard Lind will
officiate.
She was born February 20, 1897, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late
Captain Thomas and Sina Larsen Olsen. She grew up and was educated in
Manitowoc, moving to Whitewater, Wis., after her marriage to John W.
Levanetz. She moved back to Manitowoc in 1985 to make her home at Shady
Lane Nursing Care Center. She was a member of First Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Edna Karnes, Hemet, Calif.; a
niece, Sylvia Larsen, Manitowoc; other nieces, nephews, relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John on March 22,
1955; two sisters, two brothers and one step-son, Lester Levanetz.
Memorial would be appreciated to First Lutheran Church.

family with funeral arrangements.
