Lensing Found Dead in Garage

William Lensing, 60, town of Mishicot farmer, was found dead with a fatal wound
in his stomach and a shotgun at his side on the garage floor by his wife, Ella,
early today.
Coroner Theodore Teitgen, who was summoned, announced there would be no inquest.
Mrs. Lensing told the coroner she heard the shot at 5:30 a.m. Her husband had

but had been in ill health for two years.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Evangelical United
Brethren church in Mishicot. Burial will be in Pioneers’ Rest cemetery in Two
Rivers.
Mr. Lensing was born in 1886 in the town of Mishicot where he had operated a
homestead farm all his life. In 1917 he married Ella Witte of Mishicot. He was
a church officer for many years.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Ellen, a high school teacher of Blue
River, Wis., and Louis, a secretary at Allis-Chalmers company in Milwaukee; one
son, William Jr., a student at Stout Institute in Menominie; and three sisters,
Mrs. Minna Haese of Forest Junction, Wis., Mrs. John Kriehn of Two Rivers, and
Mrs. Ernst Heling of Neshoto.
The body may be viewed at the Specht funeral home in Mishicot from Sunday
afternoon until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when it will be moved to the church.
