Blanche Marian Aboussie Farha born October 10, 1921 in Healdton, OK to Lebanese Immigrants Yusef and Chafia Aboussie. She was the youngest of 5 children. She passed away March 25, 1999 after a short illness. Blanche graduated from Wichita Falls High School and attended Hardin Jr. College.

In 1944, she married Ralph E. Farha and lived in Denver, CO until the end of WWII when they established residence in Okla. City. After Blanche was widowed at a young age, she became a successful business woman and single parent. Blanche was a charter member of the Bonne Heure Club and active in the St. Elijah Ladies Aid and was devoted to both. Blanche had a warm and outgoing personality and easily made friends from all walks of life. She was always among the first to welcome all guests and newcomers to the church. She was known by her friends for her creativity and unique ability to throw a costume together for any occasion.

Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Farha ; her parents, Yusef andChafia Aboussie; brothers, Edward and Mitchell Aboussie and sister, Josephine Aboussie.

She is survived by sons, Stephen S., Gregory R. and wife, Nancy, their children, Nicholas, Patrick and Benjamin; a daughter, Jan Farha Klopp, husband, John, their daughters, Sara and Evelyn. She is also survived by her sister, Edna Hamrah of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters-in-law, Marge Aboussie, Marie Aboussie, both of Wichita Falls, TX; Leenda Farha , Thelma Farha and brother and sister-in-law, Woody & Dody Farha. Blanche has many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and was very close to.

Memorials may be made to St. Elijah "Flowers That Do Not Wither" Fund. Funeral Services 10:30 Sat. morn., March 27 at St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 15000 N.May. Interment Fairlawn Cemetery.
