A native of Union, he was son of the late Oliver D. Crawford Sr. and Clara Orr Crawford.
He was a member of Gilead Baptist Church. He was a member and past master of Prudence Masonic Lodge No. 139 of Jonesville and a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple. He had been employed as a truck driver for Milliken Co. for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Sybil Jennings Crawford; a daughter, Cathy C. Sain of Cross Keys; two sons, Randy O. Crawford of Dallas, Ga., and Dennis R. Kirby of Jonesville; five brothers, Raymond, James, Marion and Donald Crawford, all of Union, and Harold Crawford of Cayce; two step-daughters, Karen Forrester and Sharon Neipp, both of Anderson; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union, conducted by the Revs. Joseph Stover and Andrew Carrigan. Burial will be in Jonesville Memorial Gardens, with Masonic rites.
