TURNER, Glenna Rose Age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Wellington Manor on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7:10 AM. She was born in Wooton, Kentucky on September 8, 1922 the daughter of John R. and Polly (Begley) Hendrix. Glenna was employed in the housekeeping department at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton for 27 years, retiring in 1984. On November 17, 1938 in Leslie County, Kentucky she married Lige Turner, and he preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by four sons, Tony (Pat) Turner of Pekin, Indiana, Thomas Turner of Hamilton, Lige (Arlene) Turner Jr. of New Mexico, and Gerald (Terri) Turner of Hamilton; a sister, Vivian (John) Brown of Tennessee; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dover Hendrix; and three sisters, Mae Hendrix, Jean Melton, and Jenny Edwards. Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Minister Randy Dodd of New Miami Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. www.browndawson.com
