Frank married Minnie A. Fox on September 16, 1885 in Ottawa County, Ohio. By 1900 he and Minnie had moved to Bellevue, Sarpy County, Nebraska, where he was recorded on the census working as a cigar man. The census states the couple had no children, and Frank's younger brother Elmer (who worked as a clerk in a cigar shop) lived with them.

Ten years later Frank and Minnie were recorded on the 1910 census for Omaha, Douglas County, where Frank worked as a wire chief in a telegram office. They were the parents of Gertrude (age 9). The census states she was adopted and that she was born in Illinois.

The couple continued to reside in Omaha for the next twenty years, where they were recorded on the 1930 census, living on North 24th Street. Frank's wife died in 1933 and in 1940, Frank was listed on the census for San Diego, California living with housekeeper Maude F. Upton, who was also from Omaha.

Frank's death is recorded on the California Death Index for San Diego.

Frank was listed on a ship manifest record for the S. S. Matsonia, sailing from San Francisco, California on July 9, 1924 to Honolulu, Hawaii, expected to arrive on July 15, 1924. The records state he was born April 23, 1859 in Leadville, Illinois and lived in Omaha, Nebraska. He was traveling with his wife, recorded as Ellen Seelemire, born Sept. 16, 1858 at St. George, Ohio and Ella Farrar, born June 20, 1869 in Abington, Illinois, both also from Omaha.

Frank and Minnie arrived back in San Francisco on July 19, 1924, where they were listed on another ship list (ship name unreadable). Frank was listed as F. B. Seelemire, born April 23, 1859 in Milledgeville, Illinois traveling with Minnie Seelemire, born Sept. 16, 1859 in Saundusky, Ohio, both from Omaha, Nebraska.
