The funeral for Raymond Leon Ake, 46, year-old Enid resident was March 30, 2016 in the Church of the First Born. Rev. Jason Beckner will officiate. Burial was in Homestead Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Raymond was born November 10, 1969 in Fairview to Roy and Deborah (Root) Ake and died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Enid. He attended Okeene schools and graduated from Okeene High School with the class of 1988. After graduation he worked with David Brown doing body-work. He later worked with Gefco in the paint shop for 7 years. Most recently he had been working with Larry Miller on his farm.

He assemled at Church of the First Born. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish, tinker with machines, and loved his cat "Fuzzy".

He is survived by his sisters, Deanna Ake and Sharlotte Seal. Brother, Ronnie Seal. Grandfather, T.J. Root, Aunts and Uncles; Mary Schadler of Lahoma,. Lynn Root of Homestead, Ronnie Root and wife Lawana, of Homestead, Johnny Root and wife Sheila, of Enid, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandmother Dolores Root and his brother Chris Seal
