ALBERT W. HOBBS
Vanceburg, Ky. - Albert W. Hobbs, 78, of Vanceburg died Friday at Fleming County Hospital at Flemingsburg after an extended illness.
Hobbs, a native of Vanceburg, was a retired laborer.
Surviving are a son, George, and a daughter, Miss Lida Hobbs, both of Vanceburg; a stepson, Morton Sparks of Mansfield, Ohio; a brother, Arthur Hobbs, 1516 Marne Ave., West Portsmouth; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Pruitt of Vanceburg, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services are planned for 2 p.m. Monday at Dickerson Funeral Home, with Rev. John Hamilton officiating. Burial is to be in Black Oak Cemetery on Vanceburg Rt. 2.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
