Born February 13, 1907 Waynesburg, he was a son of Larry and Bella Cooke Stephenson.
Mr. Stephenson had been employed in the shipping department of Jessop Steel for 30 years retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Fourth United Presbyterian Church, Jessop Employees Club, AARP, Washington Senior Citizens, and the George Washington Beagle Club.
On Dec 10, 1931 he married Ellen Ammons, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, one brother, one sister, and two grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Reed C., Larry Edwin, and Audley J. Stephenson.
