A son of Christopher Ryan and Mary Ellen Faherty, Matthew Ryan married Pearl Mathilda Donjon Ryan Alexander April 22, 1924 at Renault, Monroe Co., IL. Church records and death certificate show his birth as July 17, 1891. He lists his birth date as July 24, 1891 on his WWI Draft Registration card. Not 100% sure which is right. His tombstone incorrectly lists his birth year as 1892.
