Vester Geisler was born May 19, 1907, the son of Rufus and Leona Geisler, and died of a heart attack Feb. 2, 1963, making his age at the time of death 55 years, eight months, and 14 days. He was born in Texas County and spent most of his life there.

He was united in marriage to Flossie Cabble Sept., 1931, and to this union two children were born.

He leaves to mourn his children, Beulah Benefiel, of Wichita, Kans.; Vester Lee Geisler of San Jose, Calif.; two grandchildren; 2 sisters, Bernice Aldridge of Tyrone and Opal Lay of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Andy Geisler, Cabool, Glen Geisler, Los Angeles, Calif., Lester Geisler, Fayette, Ind.; a half-sister, Pearl Moore of Mountain View.

His father and mother and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Big Creek Church, with the Rev. Wes Crane officiating.

Burial was in the Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
